Consumer Guarantees on Optimeal Pet Food

If you are not completely satisfied with our product, you may return the unused portion within 14 days of purchase (in its original package with your receipt) to the original place of purchase for your option of either a refund of the purchase price or a replacement of the same Optimeal’s product. Returns are limited to the original purchaser and only one per customer. The money-back guarantee applies only to a customer’s first purchase of a product made directly from Optimeal’s website (optimeal.com).
To claim, email info@optimeal.com with your order number and a brief description of the issue. Photographs of the item, packaging, or the feeding attempt may be requested to verify the claim; however, photos are not required for all claims.
If Optimeal determines the claim is eligible, we will refund the amount actually paid (after discounts) to the original payment method. Refunds generally post to the customer’s account within 7–14 business days after approval. Shipping fees are refundable only where required by law.
LIMITED WARRANTY AND OTHER LIMITATIONS
Our Satisfaction Guarantee (as described above) is exclusive and in lieu of all warranties, including without limitation any implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. We hereby disclaim and exclude all other express or implied warranties. To the extent that applicable law prohibits the exclusion of implied warranties, the duration of any applicable implied warranty is limited to the guarantee period described above. Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitation may not apply to you. Any oral or written description of our product is for the sole purpose of identifying it and shall not be construed as any additional express warranty.
Our obligation to provide a refund or replacement shall be your sole and exclusive remedy and our sole and exclusive obligation. In all cases, our liability with respect to a defective product shall be limited to the amount of money you paid for the product. We will not be liable for other damages, including without limitation incidental, special, consequential, or other indirect damages or lost profits. Some states and countries do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental and consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights under applicable state or provincial law.
This Consumer Guarantee document and any separate agreements whereby we provide you Services shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States and State of New York without reference to the conflict of law provisions. The venue for any disputes arising out of or in connection with this agreement shall be the courts located in the County of New York, State of New York.
